Dentist

Gregory Drew D.D.S.

Dr. Gregory Drew was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with minors in chemistry and economics. Upon graduation, Dr. Drew attended the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry in Manhattan, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and developed a passion for cosmetic, restorative, and public health dentistry.

To further his education and skillset, Dr. Drew completed a General Practice Residency at Ellis Hospital in upstate New York, serving the communities of Schenectady, Albany, and Saratoga Springs. Through this advanced education program, Dr. Drew gained great knowledge and practice in all facets of general dentistry, including oral surgery, dental implants, prosthodontics, and cosmetic restorative procedures. Dr. Drew has recently moved to Philadelphia from the Jersey Shore and looks forward to becoming part of the local community. Outside the office, you can find him playing sports, hiking, trying new restaurants, and enjoying all of the excitement that the city has to offer.

Steven Melman D.M.D.

Dr. Steven Melman has been a licensed dentist since 1985 when he received his degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Steven Melman, DMD continues to attend some of the most advanced, post-doctoral study programs available.

This focus allows him to provide you with a comprehensive and advanced approach to your dental health that is uncommon in today’s rushed world. Dr. Steven Melman did rotations at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA where he concentrated on an oral surgery rotation. He also participated in an Oral Medicine rotations at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL. Steven Melman, DMD, Licenses & Certifications include: Pennsylvania State License, Florida State License, and Northeast Regional Board Certification. Dr. Steven Melman is excited to work with patients.

Howard Alexander D.D.S.

Dr. Howard Alexander has been a licensed dentist since 1980 when he received his degree from Temple University School of Dental Medicine. In 1981, Howard Alexander, DDS, completed his residency program in General Practice Dentistry at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York.

During his residency, he received extensive training in the field of cosmetic dentistry, and in treating fearful and anxious patients. During his time in Syracuse, Dr. Alexander held the title of Recommended Cosmetic Dentist by MyNewSmile.com. Dr. Alexander has been practicing General Dentistry in Syracuse since 1981. He is licensed to practice dentistry in both New York and Pennsylvania. He enjoys biking and exercise in his free time. Through his experience and extensive training, Dr. Alexander can help make the most stressful of dental appointments comfortable for the apprehensive patient.

Julie Haveri D.D.S.

Dr. Julie Haveri has been a licensed dentist since 1986 when she received her DDS degree from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Before her DDS degree, she also received a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Michigan in 1980.

She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. Dr. Julie Haveri has been practicing general dentistry in the Philadelphia area for 25 years where she has enjoyed working with patients of all ages. She strives to ensure her patients feel relaxed in the dental office while helping them achieve optimum dental health. Her favorite aspects of dentistry include restorative and prosthetic dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Haveri plays league tennis and enjoys bicycling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Michael Strassberg D.D.S.

Our periodontist Dr. Michael Strassberg graduated from Boston University with a BA in Art History and received his dental education at Tufts School Of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he earned his DMD degree. He was commissioned as a dental officer in the United States Army Dental Corps, where he served in Germany where he was awarded the US Army Air Defense Artillery Certificate Of Achievement for exceptionally meritorious service.

After his honorable discharge he returned to Tufts Dental School where he completed his residency in periodontics in 1987, after which he returned to his home state of New Jersey. He has been practicing periodontics in New Jersey since 1987. Dr Strassberg takes many continuing education courses to remain current in his specialty. He is skilled in all aspects of periodontics and enjoys developing good relationships with his patients and staff. Dr Strassberg enjoys spending time with his family and dog Casper, as well as exercising, reading, travel and keeping up with friends.
